Fulshear is in northwest Fort Bend County, Texas about 40 miles west of metropolitan Houston. It is a marketing center for locally produced rice, cotton, soybeans, corn, poultry, sorghum, horses & cattle. Pecans are also a very important local crop. The city was incorporated in 1977 & only had a population of about 400 in 2003. There was a population growth explosion in the 2000’s & continues today. The population today is over 6,000 & growing with more schools, development, beautiful neighborhoods, churches, grocery stores, good restaurants & an unparalleled beautiful because of the landscape in Fulshear. According to the US Census Bureau, Fulshear is the fastest growing city in the state for 2017. In 2017, Fulshear was listed as the richest small town in Texas.

Fulshear is rich in history, unique in landscape & only 20 minutes from Houston. This is a town in the west that is on the leading edge of a wave growth & offers a tremendous amount of opportunities for those wanting to open a business or to live your life. There are plenty of trails, parks & outdoor activities like fishing, cycling, watching the Freedom fest, St. Patrick’s Day parade, the Christmas Celebration of Lights.
